One application example of the structure measuring technology are the integrated sensors in salt-spreader vehicles from NIDO. The DIGI SENS sensor is placed into the structure of the salt tub on the truck. The tension enables us to determine the salt content in the tog. Furthermore, the strew-dosage system can be controlled. The sensors in the salt-spreader vehicles are replaceable without removing the construction and make proof of extreme robustness, so that they resist any weather and all sorts of circumstances.  

With the help of the measuring of the structure technology, there was also found a solution for the Bucher Guyer Corporation. The sidewalk-and street sweepers from the Bucher Guyer Corporation are designed for a weight of 4.5 tons. However, there are rules, which do not allow vehicles weighing over 3.5 tons on the sidewalks. With installed DIGI SENS sensors, which deduce the total load by measuring the tension, the driver is alerted whenever the load-limit is exceeded. He can leave the sidewalk in time and use the left capacity on the street. In this application our costumers also drive benefit of the high stability and the simplicity to install and to maintain the DIGI SENS sensors.
