The DIGI SENS measuring principle is superior to all others, when it is a question of short measurement times and high accuracy. The new conveyor belt balance offers the packing machine manufacturer the key to achieve better throughput and thus gain the decisive edge on the competition.

DIGI SENS uses its own vibrating wire sensor for the weight measurement. This sensor produces directly (without A/D conversion) weight signals that can be read by the processor and operates practically without mechanical displacement.  

But DIGI SENS not only treads new paths in sensor technology. Also in the processing, advanced techniques are used. The averaged weight values (about 200/second) are stored continuously in a circulating memory. As soon as an event occurs (e.g. the object to be weighed reaches the weighing zone) the relevant values are read out and processed using specially adapted algorithms.  

With this method the weight can be established with optimum accuracy even with only a very short dwell time on the balance.
