i.ware 4.0 is essentially a "walk-in" dispensing system similar to the i.cupboard 4.0. Each withdrawal or return of material can be clearly attributed to a person. Access is granted to individuals with an RFID badge. The i.ware 4.0 uses precise scales to measure all inventory and their changes, sending this data to the cloud.

Through the integrated screen of the "Wallbox," withdrawn items can be displayed, additional item information can be accessed, or withdrawals can be directly assigned to a cost center or a customer order. A maximum of 5000 storage spaces can be installed in i.ware 4.0. It is possible to restock items to their storage location, and these items are then credited to the corresponding cost center.

Inventory, reorders, and access rights are centrally and comfortably managed through inventory management software on a computer. A complete overview of all storage activities is available at all times, making i.ware 4.0 a key component of any comprehensive inventory management system and warehouse management solution. The system integrates seamlessly with WMS software and can be complemented with smart vending machines for optimal stock control and management.
